Over the years the norm has been that you buy gas according to fixed weights in cylinders. This means that for users of 12.5kg cylinders they must purchase 12.5kg worth of gas during refill.
What if for any reason you want to buy gas at different qauntities?
There will then be the need to buy per unit. Funny as it sounds there are pros and cons to it. I personally prefer to buy per kg just like fuel and diesel are bought per liter.
